Valiant Care is a new company hoping to cater for ex armed service personnel that suffer from PTSD, they hope to open hospitals that purely cater for their specific needs.
Having the worked with Valiant Care in creating their logo and basic brand the next project was to create a proposal document. This was an important document with its purpose to showcase the companies ethos beliefs and highlight its importance on how it is vital to help and support armed service personnel that are struggling to deal with PTSD. The document was to show the business plan with and confidential the facts and figures with the view to help raise investment. From a design point of view this document was to be eye catching, provocative, professional and present information about all aspects of the company in an easy to access way.
The design and artwork creation
Presented with a word document, design layouts were created that followed rules set out in the branding. With the proposal being indent for use as printed document and used as a PDF presentation document to be viewed on screen, a landscape document was agreed as the best option.
Large full page images where used throughout the document of the armed services in action and also being cared for, this was to help make an immediate big impact when glancing through the document. Having full pages images gave flexibility throughout the document to ensure each section started on a new spread.
The front cover was kept plain, without images to keep professional and not to diminish from the brand. The page layout was very structured, clean, consistent and uncomplicated, with the text keeping the same uniform layout throughout. The pages were well balanced that worked well as pages spreads and also as single pages for the single page presentation document. The tables and infographics were styled to match the brand.

A lot of companies are not equipped offer A4 landscape PUR bound books for short run digital production due to the sheet size. We were able to produce short run digitally printed A4 landscape documents were printed to the highest print quality using the latest Indigo presses.
PUR binding is a form of perfect binding that glues single sheets at the spine with a wrapped around cover. PUR binding is considerably stronger and more durable than conventional perfect binding. PUR booklets are robust and offers strength and quality.
The cover were matt laminated that gave the ideal finishing touch and gave the covers a silky velvety touch adding quality and durability.
The customer was delighted and have received hugely positive feedback on the quality document both in its design and also the print. The quality of the books matched what the company was trying to portray and give the right feel.
