Duddingston Kirk, Outdoor signage Edinburgh

Duddingston Kirk in Edinburgh wanted outdoor signage Edinburgh, they want various signs placed throughout the grounds informing visitors of the walks and sights available to view within the area. They had something in mind after seeing some outdoor signage in another outdoor area. Ideally they wanted a watercolour aerial site map to be roughly 1m by 1.5m

We took all the information we needed from various plans, aerial photography, old maps, our own photography and future plans. It was a great challenge for us, to draw trees, bushes, paths/walkways and a lake. After they had a few amendments we sent the maps off to get printed.

We used watercolour paint which look great and it makes a great asset to the grounds – definitely fewer people getting lost now! We are really happy with the end result and so are Duddingston Kirk which is the most important thing.
