Doune Hill Climb
LOTHIAN CAR CLUB
Lothian Car Club (Edinburgh) began life back in 1948 to promote motorsport and motorcycle racing. Among other things it organises and promotes speed hill climbs including Bo’ness Hill Climb and Doune Hill Climb.
The Speed Hillclimb Course at Doune opened up 1967/1968 and is still going strong today and hosts two rounds of the British Speed Hillclimb Championship and four rounds of the Scottish Hill Climb Championship annually.
The course consists of 1350m or so of tarmac which handles a mix variety of cars speeding from the bottom to the top. The current record was set in June 2014 by Scott Moran driving a Gould 3.5L and stands at 34.76 seconds. If you are into motor sport this is a must to put in your calendar.
Not only do we regularly attend and thoroughly enjoy our time watching the cars whiz by but are proud that we have been print and distributing the course day programmes since 2015.
The print delivery times are generally a tight turn around, but of course we always deliver on time and the print is to a consistent high quality. As soon as we receive the artwork we thoroughly check and proof within a few hours. Once approved, we print and saddle stitch the A5 programmes and deliver within a couple of days.
If you organise a similar style event in Edinburgh or Scotland we would be glad to help you out.
