Elements of Freestyle at The Fringe

The Fringe. Some people either love it or hate it, typically if you are working in town you may hate it. At Fearless, we love the festival and the buzz it creates. Some stuff we love and some would could leave. We are not so keen on the crowds, when you are trying to get on with your day to day working life, it’s hard when you have to battle the busyness! We are also not keen on the price of stuff (travel prices are really high at this time of year) and the fact that you can’t book restaurants. We do, however, love most of the shows. Specifically, Elements of Freestyle which we went to see in the EICC. It was a mash up of skateboarders, bmx guys, a basketball player, breakdancers, roller skate guys, a cello and a violin. Sounds random but it totally worked and it was excellent. The slow cello playing with the breakdancers dancing slowly was amazing. The show was directed really well, we specifically loved the lighting. Would recommend it.
